Official June Fest Opening & Yarn Bomb Launch

Kildare Yarn Bomb - a celebration of the creativity in the county. The hands of a thousand people make this happen each year. So come along and see this explosion of colour and art in Newbridge Liffey Linear Park launching on Friday 31st May at 7pm. What better way to get you in the mood to celebrate June Fest 2019.
Take a stroll through the Linear Park and bask in the colorful woolly work of the Kildare Yarn Bombers Volunteer knitters from age 5 to 95 have let their imaginations run wild this year with LOVE as their theme. Look high and low for a gingerbread house, flowers, birds and even a packet of tayto crisps.
