Kildare Biodiversity Week 2019 Event - Children’s Nature Outing

Wild Kildare invites Children on a Nature hunt on the Canal Track and in the adjacent Park where we will seek to find birds, butterflies, bugs, wildflowers and more.
Location: Rathangan.
Meeting Point: Meet at the entrance to the Park beside the Canal.
Admission: Free event - No booking required.
Suitability: Suitable for children. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear
Please note: All children must be accompanied by an adult.
The theme for Biodiversity Week 2019 is ‘Our Biodiversity, Our Food, Our Health’.
Kildare Biodiversity Week has been organised to develop awareness of the importance of biodiversity and to better understand its value to the local, national and international communities.
The people of Kildare are invited to get out into Kildare’s Biodiversity, to visit Kildare wild spots, lakes, rivers, bogs, woodlands or to simply enjoy the biodiversity of their back garden.
