Unveiling of Squires Gannon Statue

 When: 11am Sunday 25th September

Where: Market Square , Kildare Town  

The public are encouraged to attend this special event.

• All Kildare Clubs are asked to be represented by members wearing club colours / flags
• The Artane Band will render musical honours, including Amhrán na bhFiann

• Images of Squires information on history of the trophy and the 1928 team will be shown on a large screen
• An exhibition will commemorate the 1928 achievements in Silken Thomas

• A booklet on ‘Squires’ will be published, along with notes on Sam Maguire
