Kildare Biodiversity Week 2019 Event - Swift at Burtown House

Wild Kildare invite you to a talk about the Swift at Burtown House. Come along and learn about the amazing life of this aerial acrobat as well as having a look at where they are nesting here. We will also talk about Wild Kildare’s Swift Nest Box Project to help keep them in the skies of Co. Kildare.
Location: Burtown House, Burtown, Athy.
Meeting Point: Meet at the Car Park beside the Green Barn Restaurant at Burtown House.
Admission: Free event - No booking required.

The theme for Biodiversity Week 2019 is ‘Our Biodiversity, Our Food, Our Health’.
Kildare Biodiversity Week has been organised to develop awareness of the importance of biodiversity and to better understand its value to the local, national and international communities.
The people of Kildare are invited to get out into Kildare’s Biodiversity, to visit Kildare wild spots, lakes, rivers, bogs, woodlands or to simply enjoy the biodiversity of their back garden.
