Kildare Biodiversity Week 2019 Event - “The Liffey: a source of biodiversity” with author Christopher Moriarty

Christopher Moriarty, author of The River Liffey: History and Heritage is giving a talk in Newbridge Library on Saturday 18th
May 2019 during Biodiversity Week 2019. The title of the talk is “The Liffey: a source of Biodiversity”.
The theme for Biodiversity Week 2019 is ‘Our Biodiversity, Our Food, Our Health’.
Kildare Biodiversity Week has been organised to develop awareness of the importance of biodiversity and to better understand its value to the local, national and international communities.
The people of Kildare are invited to get out into Kildare’s Biodiversity, to visit Kildare wild spots, lakes, rivers, bogs, woodlands or to simply enjoy the biodiversity of their back garden.
