Guided Walk of the Three Abbeys of Kildare
Kildare Town Heritage Centre
This is an opportunity to highlight our three Medieval Abbeys often missed by the public and their importance to the story of Kildare one of Irelands Oldest Towns. It will also be a chance to provide an overview of the new proposed interpretation at these sites. The walk is approx 6km in length.
Event Details
- Saturday 14th August At 11am, Wednesday 18th at 11am, Saturday 21st August at 11am
- This is a Guided Tour of the Medieval White, Grey and Black Abbeys of Kildare. The Tour will start outside the Heritage Centre on Market Square in Kildare Town and is 6km in length and will require a minimum of 1.5 hours. Numbers will be limited to a maximum of 20
