What is happening?
Fairyhouse is home to the famous three-day Easter Festival which is taking place from Saturday 16th - Monday 18th April 2022.
Fairyhouse Racecourse will host the 150th running of the Irish Grand National on Easter Monday, April 18, Family Day on Sunday and Irish Grand National Monday.
Easter Sunday is also Family Day
- Face painters,
- Balloon modelling
- Bubble fun for everyone.
- Children’s theatre shows with interactive pantomime puppets
- Magic ventriloquism show,
- Grand finale starring the Easter bunny.

Our KIDS GO FREE policy means that all the family can experience one of Ireland’s most prestigious racecourses, the ‘older ones’, the thrills of and spills of spring racing, and the ‘younger ones’, all the free entertainment we have on offer.
Easter Sunday also features the Easter Bonnet competition, a fantastic opportunity for the kids to show their creative side by making the most colourful and exciting bonnet hats.
The day will be brought to a close with live music from Pilgrim Street in the Festival Marquee.
