Monasterevin Hopkins Society Summer 2019 Annual Festival

The Monasterevin Hopkins Society celebrates Gerard Manley Hopkins, his poetry and his unique connection to the community in Monasterevin.  They hold a annual festival, and invite you to join them and gain an insight into the community and location that he referred to as “one of the props and struts of my existence”.

Event:  Art Exhibition: Artist for Peace, curated by Ann Scully

Venue: Mercy Convent, Drogheda St. , Monasterevin

Event: Concert - Dominic McGorian, Tenor

Accompanied on piano by Jillian Saunders Dominic will sing a varied programme including Classical , Modern and Irish traditional songs.

Venue: Moore Abbey , Baronial Hall
