St. Brigids Cathedral
Christians have worshipped on the hill of Kildare since at least the year 480 AD when Saint Brigid made the site her permanent home. Today you can visit this thriving, active church and explore the Round Tower, High Cross of Kildare, St Brigid’s Fire House, as well as the many remarkable features inside the Cathedral and around Kildare Town.
