Solas Bhríde Centre and Hermitages.
Solas Bhride, an initiative of the Brigidine sisters, is a Christian Spirituality Centre which welcomes people of all faiths and none. The Vision of the Centre is to welcome all to know and be inspired by Saint Brigid whose legacy is ever more relevant for our world today.
As you enter the grounds, you will be enveloped in the stillness, peace and tranquillity of the sounds, smells and sights of nature all around you.
On visiting the Centre, a unique ecologically building inspired by the legacy of St. Brigid, you may like to sit with the Brigid Flame, plan to join one of the guided pilgrimages to the local St. Brigid’s well, follow our Meditative Walk in the Centre grounds, or perhaps linger at our labyrinth, attend one of the many events hosted by the Solas Bhride team throughout the year. You may even consider a stay in one of the Hermitages where peace and solitude is assured.
