POSITION OF MANAGER
FULL-TIME 5 DAYS PER WEEK
Kildare Town Heritage Centre are seeking applications for a managerial position to cover a Sabbatical for one year starting at the beginning of September 2022
The position is managing and overseeing the County Tourist Office and Heritage Centre that includes a Virtual Reality Experience “Legends of Kildare” a small souvenir shop and to co-ordinate guided walking tours.

- ADMINISTRATION, IT AND TELEPHONE SKILLS
- BUDGET SKILLS
- FLUENCY IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE
- PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
The position requires occasional weekend and evening work and requires flexibility.
Salary €29,000 - €31,000 depending on experience

We are seeking applications for an exciting new opportunity for an Event Co-ordinator that will activate public realm space and attract visitors to Kildare Town and Surrounds.
The Position is part-time and for a period of 30 weeks.
Brief Job Description.
This job is to support and raise the standards of existing events in Kildare Town and surrounding area.
This is a position for someone who is self-motivated, energetic and an excellent communicator.
You will ensure that all events support the community and strengthens the tourism value of the town and area. You will be required to create at least one new event that will draw tourists to the local area, and you will assist with the efficient coordination of events on the day.
Job Requirements / Skillset Required:
Minimum of one years’ experience in event organisation
Excellent interpersonal skills
Project management skills
Budgeting and funding application skills
Creative and self – motivated to undertake all aspects of running events
30 weeks / 3 days per week @ €15 per hour
The job is based mainly at home with the requirement to work ½ day in the Kildare Town Heritage Centre or other designated location.
