As part of Derby Festival, we are Inviting all our 4 legged canine friends to strut their stuff on the red carpet in Town Sq. Sponsored by Kildare's' family run pet store, Mutz Nutz Petcare, the inaugural Derby Festival 'Pooch Parade' dog show gives our best friend the opportunity to show off what they're made of.

The evening will host a dog show, grooming demonstrations, dog welfare information and behavioural advice, all hosted by the wonderful Martin!

Goodie bags for the participants and many fabulous prizes provided by Mutz Nutz Petcare.

A number of categories to suit all from Rescue Dogs to Kanine Kardashians. Fun prizes and dog welfare workshops with street entertainment.

Downton Abbey Dogs: A category for traditional, pure breed dogs. Have a lively Labrador, a jumping Jack or a wise Westie? This competition is for you! Open to all single breed dogs.

Golden Oldies: This one needs no explanation... is there a precious pet in your home who deserves a day out? Enter here, and try your luck! Senior dogs, over 10 years only please.

Heinz 57's: As some ketchup brands contain over 57 varieties of tomato, some of our precious doggies are mixes of many different varieties too. This is the round for them.

Kardashian Kanines: If you have style, breeding , elegance and a presence... then you must be a Labradoodle, or maybe a Cockapoo. All designer breeds are welcome in this category.

Best Dressed: If you and your pooch love the chance to get dressed up and show off your best glad-rags... Enter this category and join in the parade of style!

Rescued Rovers: Some humans are lucky enough to have the joy of giving unloved dogs a new start. Enter here to show these pooches just how loved they are. This category is open to all owners and minders of rescue dogs.
