Free‘Legends of Kildare’ is a virtual reality experience which transports the visitor back in time on a magical and emotional journey, while immersing them in stories of the Fianna, Brigid the Goddess, Saint Brigid and the arrival of the Normans in one of Ireland’s oldest towns.
Visitors will be greeted by a guide in Medieval costume who will set the scene and lead them to a tranquil space where the adventure begins. This VR event is available in English, Irish, French, German and Chinese. As places are limited to six showings with a maximum of 5 persons per showing, pre-booking is essential by emailing with Culture Night in the subject line.
