Tattersalls Irish 1000 Guineas @ The Curragh

High quality race day with the Tattersalls Irish 1000 Guineas and Tattersalls Gold Cup taking centre stage. Other races feature the Tally Ho Stud EBF 2 year old Maiden,
FBD Hotels & Resorts Premier Handicap, Airlie Stud Gallinule Stakes (Group 3), Irish Tatler Handicap, EBF Premier Handicap and O'Briens Wines Maiden

The Killashee Irish Tatler Style Icon competition for ladies and men will be one of the featured highlights of the race day.

The Winners of the Killashee Irish Tatler Style Icon (female) will receive a fantastic prize of a two night luxury stay for two at the magnificent four star Killashee Hotel including breakfast on both mornings, champagne afternoon tea, dinner in Turners Restaurant, treatments in the award winning Killashee spa as well as a shopping spree worth €1,500.

The Killashee Irish Tatler Man Style Icon will win a weekend break for the winner plus a guest at Killashee Hotel including two nights bed & breakfast, dinner on one evening and tickets to the Irish Oaks at The Curragh on 15th July as well as a €500 shopping voucher.

Norah Casey, publisher of Irish Tatler will be one of the fashion judges tasked with finding the most stylish duo, while Alexander Fitzgerald, Editor of Tatler Man will head up the judging team to find the Most Stylish Man.

Meanwhile on the track, racing kicks off at 2.15pm on Saturday with the clash of Europe’s top colts in the Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas while a concert from the fantastic Reality Bites will keep the “après party” going when they perform in the main enclosure after the last race.

Sunday 28th May also promises to be an exciting day of racing with some of Europe’s best fillies competing for classic race glory in the Tattersalls Irish 1000 Guineas.

The day also boasts the Tattersalls Gold Cup and the Irish Tatler Handicap. The first race is off at 1.45pm

Adult admission tickets cost €20.00. Adult admission with coach transport from Dublin costs €30.00 on either day. There are concessions for under 25’s and seniors, while under 16’s accompanied by an adult enjoy complimentary admission . A variety of dining packages are also available on both days.

There is free car parking at the Curragh Racecourse and trains from Dublin to Kildare Town with free shuttle bus to races. Dublin Coach also provide a service on race days (see dublincoach.ie).
