Kildare Drama Festival 2019 presents, Newpoint Players Newry in "Waiting for Godot"

by Samuel Beckett (Open),  About the Play: Beckett's classic play is set on an empty country road near a withered tree. The tragicomic, almost clownish, Vladimir and Estragon are waiting for Godot. Were they here on the previous day? Do they know Godot? Would they recognise him if he arrived? They are joined by Pozzo and his enslaved servant Lucky. These newcomers offer little by way of an answer to their questions. A boy arrives to announce that Godot will not come on this day . What will be the outcome?
